Math Crossword: Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Math Crossword app, published by Gladwing Mobile (a trading name of Gladwing Ltd) on Google Play (iOS to follow later).

Who's responsible

Math Crossword is published by Gladwing Ltd, trading as Gladwing Mobile ("we", "us", "our"). Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to info@gladwing.dev.

What the app collects

Math Crossword doesn't require an account: there's no sign-up and no login. Your puzzle progress and stats (puzzles solved, best streak, and so on) are stored only on your device, in local storage. We never see that data and it's never transmitted to us or any server.

What third parties collect

Math Crossword shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and personalize ads, measure their performance, and detect invalid activity, AdMob collects your advertising ID, IP address, and device information. Google acts as the data processor for this, under Google's own privacy policy.

Ad consent

If you're in the EEA or UK, you'll see a consent prompt (Google's User Messaging Platform) before any personalized ad is requested. You can change your choice at any time from within the app, under Settings → Ad privacy options.

Data sharing

We don't sell your data. The only sharing that happens is with Google/AdMob as described above. Any international transfer of that data is covered under Google's own safeguards, including standard contractual clauses.

Data retention

On-device data persists until you uninstall the app or use the in-app "Reset progress & stats" option. Because there's no account, nothing is held on our servers.

Children's privacy

Math Crossword is a general audience app. It isn't directed at or marketed to children, though it isn't restricted from being played by them either.

Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

We don't collect personal data from you directly, so most rights around ad-related data (access, correction, deletion) are exercised through Google's own privacy controls at the link above. For anything related to your on-device progress and stats, use the in-app "Reset progress & stats" option, which clears that data immediately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. We'll update the "last updated" date above whenever we do.
